Section 1. Introduction and Scope
This Review Policy (“Policy”) explains how ZenologiaMC — the trade name of Zenologia LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company (“I,” “me,” “my,” or “Provider”) — requests, collects, verifies, moderates, sorts, selects, displays, edits, removes, and updates client reviews. It implements the review transparency commitments in Section 24 of my Commission Terms of Service (the “TOS”) and uses the same defined terms. If this Policy and the TOS conflict on a review matter, the TOS controls, except where this Policy gives you greater rights.
This Policy applies to reviews displayed on channels I control: the public review channel on my Discord server, my website at zenologiamc.com, and my social-media pages on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Bluesky (together, “provider-controlled channels”). It does not govern reviews you post on platforms or accounts that I do not control — such as reviews left directly on BuiltByBit or another third-party marketplace — which are governed by those platforms’ own review systems and policies. Nothing in this Policy restricts your right to post, edit, or delete an honest review, including a negative review, on any platform or account where you control the review.
Section 2. How Reviews Are Requested
A star-based review option is offered as a standard part of closing every commission. When your commission ticket is closed, my Discord bot prompts you in the ticket to leave an optional review consisting of a star rating from one to five stars and any written comments you choose to add.
Leaving a review is entirely voluntary. Declining to leave a review has no effect on your commission, deliverables, support window, pricing, or eligibility for future commissions. Every client is invited to leave a review in the same way at the close of every commission; I do not selectively invite only clients I expect to leave positive reviews, and I do not screen clients’ sentiment before inviting a review. I may ask you to leave an honest review and, after resolving an issue, I may ask you to consider voluntarily updating your review, but I will never require, pressure, or compensate you to do either.
Section 3. How Reviews Are Collected
Reviews are collected exclusively through the bot prompt in your commission ticket. Each submitted review is recorded together with the commission record it relates to, including the Discord identifiers and timestamps involved. I do not accept reviews submitted outside the commission-ticket process for display on provider-controlled channels, and I do not import, purchase, or syndicate reviews from any other source. Personal data connected with reviews is handled under my Privacy Policy.
Section 4. No Incentives
I do not offer or provide payment, discounts, refunds, free or upgraded services, future-service benefits, or any other compensation or consideration in exchange for leaving, changing, updating, or removing a review. No review displayed on a provider-controlled channel has been incentivized. If I ever introduce a legally permitted review incentive in the future, I will update this Policy first, the incentive will never be conditioned on the review being positive, favorable, or unchanged, and any incentive or material connection will be clearly disclosed with or near the affected review.
Section 5. How Reviews Are Verified
Because reviews can only be submitted through the ticket of a real commission, every review displayed on a provider-controlled channel comes from an actual client with a verifiable commission record. Before publishing, editing, or removing a review, I may perform reasonable commission-record verification to confirm that the review, or the request concerning it, comes from the client who placed the commission. I do not write, commission, purchase, or generate reviews of my own services, and I do not publish fake, fabricated, or misleading reviews or testimonials.
Section 6. Moderation and Removal
By default, every review submitted through the review process is displayed, whether positive or negative. I remove, hide, or decline to display a review, or a portion of one, only to the extent I reasonably and in good faith determine that it is false, defamatory, unlawful, clearly misleading, fake, abusive, harassing, obscene, or unrelated to the services, or that it contains confidential information, trade secrets, personal information, credentials, secrets, private server details, source code, protected configurations, malicious code, or other legally protected information.
Where I decline to display a review on the ground that it is false, I will do so only where I can support that determination with documented proof, such as the written commission record, and I will retain that proof. Moderation is applied in a viewpoint-neutral manner: I will never remove, hide, suppress, penalize, or refuse to display a review solely because it is negative, unfavorable, or critical.
Where only part of a review contains protected information, I will redact the affected portion rather than remove the whole review, where reasonably practical, and indicate that a redaction was made.
Section 7. Sorting, Selection, and Display
Provider-controlled channels display all reviews received, subject only to the moderation grounds in Section 6. Reviews are displayed in chronological order based on when they were submitted. I do not reorder, rank, weight, filter, or curate reviews to favor positive ones, and the displayed reviews are not a selected or curated subset.
Individual social-media posts may highlight a single review or an excerpt. Such posts are excerpts, not the complete review record, and the complete set of reviews remains available in my public Discord review channel and on zenologiamc.com. Any excerpt will preserve the review’s meaning, rating, timing, source, and context. If I display an average or aggregate rating, it is calculated across all displayed reviews, not a selected subset.
Section 8. Reviewer Names and Privacy
By default, a review is displayed with the Discord display name you used when submitting it. I will not display your email address, payment details, private Discord profile information, or other personal contact information with a review unless you expressly authorize it. You may ask, before or after publication, for your review to be displayed under an anonymized label instead, through your Discord ticket or by emailing [email protected]. Review-related personal data is handled under my Privacy Policy.
Section 9. Editing and Updating Reviews
You may edit or update your review at any time by opening a Discord support ticket or emailing [email protected]. I will apply your requested change to provider-controlled displays within a reasonable time. Where a review has been materially updated, the displayed copy may be marked as updated so that its timing is not misrepresented.
I do not edit the substance of reviews. When I display, quote, repost, or excerpt a review, I will not materially alter its meaning, rating, timing, source, or context, other than the limited redactions described in Section 6.
Section 10. Removal Requests and License Revocation
You own your review. By submitting one, you grant me a revocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, quote, repost, and use it on provider-controlled channels under TOS Section 24. You may revoke this license at any time in writing through your Discord ticket or by emailing [email protected]. After revocation, I will stop future promotional use of the review and, within a reasonable time, remove or hide existing provider-controlled displays that remain within my reasonable control. Revocation does not require me to remove independent third-party reposts, screenshots, archives, or platform-retained records, and I may retain nonpublic records for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, chargeback, or dispute-resolution purposes as permitted by law.
Section 11. Your Rights
Nothing in this Policy or the TOS restricts, penalizes, or retaliates against an honest review, including a negative review, on any platform or account where you control the review, subject only to lawful limits on confidential, private, unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise protected information. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable right you have under applicable law, including the U.S. Consumer Review Fairness Act and applicable consumer-protection law.
Section 12. Changes to This Policy
I may update this Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law, review channels, or my practices. The current version, with its effective date, will be available where reviews are displayed or linked from those channels. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date and last-updated date.
